New to Des Moines, raised in the Quad cities, lived in Denver 26 years. I have played bass and guitar for over 40 years, I know theory and can improvise, I have played bass in several bands, plus I have original material. Looking to form a modern jam band, with an appreciation for Mississippi river blues history, heavy on dominant modes; I7 IV7 V7. A nod to the Blues Brothers, Bix Beiderbeck, Tom Sawer, Jerry Garcia, Billy Strings, Derik Trucks, Blues Traveler, etc..
