Santa’s workshop is open. Come enjoy a beer and learn how to make Snuffle Mats and Snuffle Balls for your fur friends. LOLA’s Rescue and Barquentine Brewing Company are hosting a Snuffle and Sip event on Sunday, December 12th at noon. What are snuffle mats and balls? Snuffle mats and balls are an enrichment tools for your dogs and cats. They are recommended by trainers for many reasons. They can slow down the super fast eater at meal times. They allow your pet to engage in one of their favorite activities: sniffing out good food. There’s even research that links the activity to stress relief in your pet and helps burn off some extra energy. Pictured with Stout, a LOLA’s Rescue Alumni, is an 8” Snuffle Ball and a 12” Round Snuffle Mat. Stout is a big girl at 110lbs, so you can see these can be fun for pets of all sizes. This is a family friendly event, though only those 21+ will get a brew to enjoy while they craft. Juice and La Croix available for those younger. We do ask that the pets stay at home for this event. We will be busy putting these together and enjoying great drinks.
