Tapas and Cider Pairing Event
Tapas and cider are fixtures in Spanish cuisine. In particular, the Asturias and Basque regions of Northern Spain are exciting culinary destinations with long standing traditions of cider and tapas experiences. It is this region where Chef Ryan Baisden immersed himself in the local food culture and, lucky us, is bringing a taste of northern Spain to Warrenton, Virginia.
The menu created for our pairing event will feature tastes from the ocean, local farms from the region, and handcrafted Wild Hare Ciders. Chef will select produce for the dessert, apricot or peaches, based on local availability and quality of the fruit.
We will welcome you to one of two seatings with a greeter course and welcome cider. Mix, mingle and enjoy while we bring out the first of three plates with another cider to taste. A coffee station will also be available, and after the event, ciders can be purchased and enjoyed on the premises. Enjoy learning about the ciders crafted at Wild Hare Cider and discover new resources for your own kitchen and dinner parties.
The seatings are planned for Friday, January 21st at 5:30 and 7:30 and will be presented at Ciao Bella on Ashby Street in Warrenton, Virginia. We look forward to hosting you!
