Discover the Wharf District with a New Year's Eve walking tour by the Friends of the Harborwalk. On New Year’s Eve day, join the Friends of the Harborwalk for a one-hour walking tour of Boston’s historic wharves led by Liz Nelson Weaver. Meet at 1:00 PM at Harbor Islands Welcom Center on the Greenway before proceeding to Long, Central, India, and Rowes wharves where you'll discover their rich history. The Friends of the Boston Harborwalk is a volunteer group affiliated with Boston Harbor Now. The group meets monthly to promote awareness, public enjoyment and local stewardship of Boston’s 43-mile Harborwalk.
