NJWS resumes a tradition with its annual side by side and Youth Soloist winner From prominent organ soloist Gordon Turk to the winner of the 16th Annual NJWS Youth Soloist competition, we bring our season to a close by showcasing musical talent that spans across generations. The NJWS will perform a variety of works including Dmitri Shostakovich’s iconic “Festive Overture” before sharing the stage with the finest local high school wind, brass, and percussion students to join us on stage as part of our Side by Side program.
