Wilderness Survival - AThe wilderness is a place where nature is in charge. Weather, injuries, unexpected problems and situations can put even experienced people at risk. This program is all about learning how to prepare for anything and how to make nature your friend. These skills are available to everyone if they know how to recognize and use them.
This introductory class will set you up with the basic skills to keep your self warm, hydrated, fed, and found. These skills are the foundation to your survival practice.
The lettered Wilderness Survival Skill Set classes may be taken in any order. Please note that the classes with letters earlier in the alphabet are more introductory than those that follow which are more advanced.
Some skills can be acquired during a single class, while others will require a lot of ongoing practice. Students are encouraged to register and retake the Wilderness Survival Skill Set courses as many times as they like.
