This course is the required 16 hour course to apply for your Illinois Concealed Carry License. 16 Hour Course | 8:00AM - 4:00PM Saturday & Sunday The cost of this course is $200 which includes the classroom course materials, training, certificate, lunch, range use, and target. Group rates are available. This course leads to an Illinois Concealed Carry Training Class Certificate of the required subjects, to obtain your Illinois Concealed Carry License (CCW) from the State Of Illinois. The course objectives are to teach an individual the basic knowledge, skill and attitude necessary to become a safe and responsible gun owner. What do I need to bring? Please bring a photo ID, properly maintained serviceable pistol in good working order, at least 50 rounds factory loaded ammunition, and eye & ear protection. Please wear appropriate range clothing and closed toe shoes. We provide all that is required for the classroom (course materials, student materials, refreshments, lunch, etc.) Live fire qualification instruction with a concealable firearm consisting of minimum of 30 rounds which must include 10 rounds from a distance of 5 yards; 10 rounds from a distance of 7 yards; and 10 rounds from a distance of 10 yards at a B-27 silhouette target approved by the Illinois State Police.
