Join us for our first sister circle as we bring in the New Year creating a Vision Board, Journaling, and more Welcome to The Salon, a gathering space for women of color to discuss life, practice healing, and have a dope ass time loving and supporting one another. Our first event is our Vision Board party. We will begin the evening connecting with each other over tea/wine and light bites. We will then go into our Vision Board Activity. Then close with Salon Talk. Free session you just have to pay for supplies. The origin of The Salon: A salon is a gathering of people held by an inspiring host. During the gathering they amuse one another and increase their knowledge through conversation. These gatherings often consciously followed Horace's definition of the aims of poetry, "either to please or to educate" (Latin: aut delectare aut prodesse). Salons in the tradition of the French literary and philosophical movements of the 17th and 18th centuries were carried on until as recently as the 1920s in urban settings.
