Free EventJoin County biologists for a trail run that will take participants along the Bluegill Trail at the 13,000+ acre Loxahatchee Slough Natural Area. This run is free and open to the public.
The run will start at the Karen T. Marcus Sandhill Crane Access Park located at 8175 PGA Blvd, Palm Beach Gardens , FL 33418.
The run will cover approximately 4.5 miles and take participants through a variety of habitats on a combination of hardened and natural-grade trails. From the parking lot at Karen T. Marcus Sandhill Crane Access Park, we will head south and return along the Jeaga Wildways Bluegill Multi-Use Trail (C18 Canal right-of-way). We will enjoy the sunset and watch the full moon rise.
Please bring your own water; Masks are not required for fully vaccinated runners (2 weeks after 2nd shot, or 2 weeks after J&J shot) and are required for unvaccinated when unable to maintain social distancing. Masks can be taken off during the run itself.
