Advocate For Me presents Sensory Saturdays- Advocate For Me presents Sensory Saturdays- 4 sessions and 4 topics will be discussed with families while the children engage in sensory activities such as painting, water play, story time, etc. After you register you will receive additional details for the playdates. One session is $15(non-refundable) Four sessions is $50 (non-refundable) Covid Restrictions will be followed- masks, temperature checks, and social space (each activity will be at a different table or location with a 1-2 families). My name is L'Vonne McMillan, and I am the Founder and CEO of Advocate for Me, LLC. Advocate for Me specializes in working with families of children with special needs and special health care needs. I am a parent of a child who was born premature and has special health care needs. So this is very dear to my heart. My first children's book, What About Me? is the first in my series about a child named David and his mom dealing with the challenges of inclusion in a child care center. Philadelphia native L’Vonne McMillan has worked with various agencies providing one-on-one instruction and early intervention for clients with various special needs- Autism, Down Syndrome, and Mental Health Disorders. She has a wide range experience in the Social Service Field as well as Lead Classroom Teacher at various locations. She started providing tutoring services in June 2004 and has had many families utilize her services within the following subjects- General Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Reading, and Writing. It's with this passion she started the Marie Morgan Educational Center, Inc. However, now that Jordan’s health is maintained and better she is able to embark on several different opportunities working with women and children. Ms. McMillan goal is to enhance the lives of others and to make their life more self sufficient by utilizing the gifts and talents that have been bestowed on her as an Educator, Speaker, Dancer, Social Service Worker and Author.
