Queer Punk Band Looking For A Guitarist!

Howdy! I'm Skylar, the bassist and lead vocalist of a queer punk band I started called Atomic Broad! It started as solo project in which I played, composed, and performed everything myself, but earlier this year, I partnered with B.J, our drummer and producer for the band. What resulted is a punk band that mixes genres like blues, folk music, and heavy metal with openly political and queer-centric lyrics. And as a result of that partnership, we put out two singles last month with two records, as well as another single, to come out next year! Up to this point, I have played all guitar parts, bass parts, and some drums as well in the studio, and we are looking for a proper guitarist to fill out our band in preparation for shows that will come up in the near future. We want a guitarist to play these songs with us and possibly join us in the studio as well! We are looking for a fairly skilled guitarist as, though we are not an extremely technical band, the material can be challenging. Be comfortable with performing vibrato, bends, palm muting, string muting, pinch harmonics, soloing, and playing at faster tempos (sometimes over 200 BPM). Bonus points if you can play to a click! You also need to have your own gear (though we can provide gear if you're in a pinch!) and transportation. We highly value punctuality as well, so show up to band practices, recording sessions, shows, etc. on time! We also require our members to be vaccinated, as without it, it makes entering venues very difficult (and we don't want to get sick!). Lastly, know that this is an openly political and openly queer band. You don't have to be queer to join Atomic Broad, but if you aren't comfortable with LGBT+ people, as well as topics like LGBT+ rights, human rights, protesting conversion therapy, homophobia, religion, and other topics, this isn't the band for you.
