Here are the top stories in Irving today: Irving ISD announced that leaders will be redistricting the trustee zones in response to 2020 Census data. The district says the changes will not impact school attendance boundaries. Each trustee is elected to represent a segment of the school district on the school board. Officials over there say repairs and painting to the exterior of the building continue, making it necessary to close certain entrances and redirect foot traffic. The repairs are scheduled to continue through this month. Wayne Carter reports on an Arlington school's innovations to help students grow a love of reading. Uplift Summit International Prep has brought hybrid desk/cycling stations to its library, where students can move their feet while getting into a book. The space also features soothing music and images on a pull-down screen. Educators say the changes are drawing more students in to use the library.
