We need to rehome our 2 year old (turned 2 in August) Shiba Inu named Shakira. Kira would be best with a firm owner...male/female or couple. Kira is good with kids but can be protective over her cage and things she determines to be treats. Kira is not very animal friendly and needs to be the only animal in the home. Of dozens of dogs met, Kira has been friends with 3. Kira could be a great companion to a couple or single adult. She does enjoy cuddling and playing fetch or pull. She is very intelligent and knows commands such as sit, shake and to stand against the wall on hind legs (spread em). She is potty trained and crate trained. She is very vocal and needs a yard to stretch her legs to keep temperament. We need to rehome due to my wife returning to the workplace and our four kids busy schedules. Additionally she has not thrived in townhouse living since she has not gotten as much exercise with our busy schedules. Please reach out for meet ups.
