Description

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — 'Tis the season for giving back to your community. There are a number of ways that you and your family can help out through the holidays and help others. Every day through Christmas, Patch will be highlighting a way you can provide compassion and resources to those in need. Volunteer New York! makes it easy to find ways to help — through donations, supporting nonprofits and even volunteering from home. Today's opportunity is for the Junior League of Central Westchester. The organization is seeking people to donate diapers for families who are struggling through the ongoing pandemic. Volunteers can support the Westchester County Diaper Bank's efforts by donating diapers of all types, brands and sizes — from newborn to toddler. They said larger diaper sizes — 4, 5 and 6 — and pull-ups of all sizes are needed most. The project is ideal for families, companies, faith-based organizations, students and youth groups.
