2 Male Ferrets

Description
I have two male ferrets, Jack and Oliver who are two and three years old. Both are super sweet, Jack more lovey than Oliver, and have never nipped or yelled or anything at me. Unfortunately I need them to go to a home that has more time than I do for the foreseeable future to work with them more, I got them under the assumption they were normal little ferrets (which is more than OK if they needed helping hand to guide them) but I learned soon after I got them that they were neglected (and possibly abused inadvertently) where they were at (they were both super skinny when I got them, their cage was horrible, they stank like none other (not normal ferret scent), etc) and have had some issues with playing and bonding with me because of it. Jack normally eats and sleeps and sometimes adventurous around the room, they free roam in a very large room, but is the lazier of the two and does not do much other than that. Oliver is the more adventurous one, he is constantly trying to find ways to escape or things to get into (and he also has a thing for stealing shoes I've learned). Jack is a bit of a lover and will give you kisses if you ask as well. Neither play with each other at all though, or toys. I've spent a bit of time trying to get them to play and tease them but neither seem to respond much and unfortunately with work picking up and some life changes, the time I thought I'd have is a little more limited. They still get attention and enough I would think but I think they are great guys and should get more if they can. Someone who can constantly interact with them and teach them how to be the playful kits they should be again. I've had them for about a year now and they have changed already much in that time from when we started (they both are so much healthier looking and smell like ferrets again). They both are puppy pad trained (they may do a litter pan, haven't tried) and are free roam 24/7. They don't have an issue in the cage, but the cage they came with wasn't exactly super and probably will require some jimmy rigging to get it to hold them for a period of time. They both are on a kibble diet (never tried feeding them soupy or raw) of WYSONG. They do need their shots, I don't believe the previous owner ever took them to the vet (I got them checked over briefly when I got them but not shots). They will also need flea & tick if they are to go outside. They are both descented and neutered (Marshall ferrets). They drink out of a bowl or a bottle (they are messy with a bowl though and probably would serve better to have a fountain or bigger bottle). They interact great with my small child and my large dog, never have had any issues with them being mean or such to them. I'm willing to send them on their way to a great new place with the rest of their food, water bottle, puppy pads, travel bag, cage and toys for a rehoming fee of $250. I can meet in the Lansing area. I can send pictures upon request. Please be serious and please have ample time for them. I'm not looking to just pawn them off, I will continue to work with them while I have them and try to get them to be themselves further still - just want the best for these two little guys.
