Children’s Ski Instructor Mogul Busters is a Ski and Snowboard school located at Ski Bowl East at Government Camp. The school has been in operation for over 60 years. We operate on weekends January through March. Job Duties: • Teach skiing and to groups and individuals in K-7th grades (occasionally adults) through exceptional class handling and creativity • Ensure guest safety on varied terrain in winter weather • Supervise students at all times in class • Maintain attendance and punctuality, and exercise good judgment • Promote teamwork and a positive attitude with respect for all members and staff Qualifications: • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills; must love working with people • Intermediate or above skiing (comfortable on blue slopes) preferred • Ability to ski up to 4.5 hours per day in inclement winter weather • Ability to commute or carpool with another instructor to the ski area in inclement weather • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English • Ability to pass a background check What’s in it for You: • Discounted season’s pass for instructor and their family • Free lessons for family members • Small ski school with family-like atmosphere • Chance to earn extra income on the weekend • In classroom clinics and on-snow training for instructor’s personal improvement • Training for Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) Certification • Discounted equipment purchases for PSIA members
