The Public Address Announcer is responsible for keeping our fans informed and promoting our sponsors. It is the Public Address Announcer’s responsibility to understand the flow of the game as detailed in the game day script including timing of music, raffles, on field contests, etc., and to synchronize with the On Field Host. In addition, the Public Address Announcer must be flexible and adaptable in order to react quickly to unforeseen issues. The ideal candidate will have prior public speaking or acting experience and an excellent understanding of the game of baseball. This position is one with extremely high visibility and the Public Address Announcer must conduct themselves professionally in every situation, no matter how stressful.
