Initial Counseling is to be conducted no less than 12 months prior to a service member's EAS. YOUR APPOINTMENT TIME WILL BE ON YOUR EMAIL CONFIRMATION UNDER 'ORDER SUMMARY' OR YOUR PRINTABLE TICKETClick 'SELECT A DATE' and choose a date.Then click 'REGISTER' and choose a time slot.Please only schedule one appointment per service member.Pre-work is required: Digitally sign E-form (DD2648)JST-Unofficial Joint Service TranscriptsVMET-Verification of Military Experience and TrainingITP-Individual Transition PlanSelf-Assessment (ONET)E-BENEFITS DS Login (premium account)Ensure all information entered is accurate and up to date at time of appointment. Be advised during teleworking advisor calls may come from unlisted, private or blocked numbers!Required initial counseling is to be conducted no less than 12 months prior to EAS. Due to COVID-19 initial counseling will be conducted via telephone as well as Pre-Separation Counseling Brief, which will be provided during initial counseling appointment. These two requirements must be completed before you can enroll into the Transition Readiness Seminar (TRS).
