I do take this very seriously.We have had our application in for USDA for awhile. They are just behind.. Located in McFarland (by Dane County Humane Society)-Please READ ALL! Things you need to know before getting a chinchilla: You must have A/C your house temperature should never go over 68 degrees; Chinchillas don’t have the ability to sweat and will die in temps over that. Plastic is toxic and deadly to chinchillas. That means no water bottle, ramps, hide, food dish...etc. If parts of your cage are plastic, they must be covered in anti-pull fleece.
