We are a small construction company looking for an experienced carpenter to join our team, as we continue to grow and expand. Responsibilities: - Work on various new construction, renovation and addition projects throughout Newport County - Framing, finish work, decks, drywall, door and window installation, interior and exterior trim, concrete form work, general labor (the ability to lift more than 50lbs), site management and clean up as needed - The ability to read building plans is a plus. -The ability to speak Spanish or Jamaican is also a plus. Qualifications: - Hands-on experience in the carpentry trade, both rough and finish work - Must have tool belt with basic hand tools - Must have strong technical skills, the ability to work without supervision, as well as, work well with others and follow instructions - Must be able to reach job locations on time Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability Work Location: Multiple Locations
