Frederick Brick Cleaning Inc. provides a full range of commercial and residential brick cleaning, caulking and restoration services within Michigan. We are currently hiring for experienced brick cleaning and caulkers to join our expanding team. Our brick cleaners and caulkers perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. The qualified candidate will be a punctual, hard worker who can follow instructions and is capable of working in a variety of weather conditions. Our reputation for quality work and reliable service has been earned over 4 decades of service, and is well known throughout the industry. Founded in 1970, our team has succeeded in building one of the foremost brick cleaning and caulking companies in the State of Michigan. Frederick Brick Cleaning handles new construction, renovations and repairs to existing buildings, working with many general contractors and management companies, on a wide variety of projects. All tools needed to do the job are provided including caulk guns, spray washers, work truck, safety harness (if applicable), etc. The operation is based out of Troy, MI where the team meets and picks up trucks, however the job locations vary based on project around south-eastern Michigan. Work environments may include but are not limited to the following: seasonal temperatures, high spaces, small spaces, loud and frequent noises, standing/walking for up to 12 hours a day, indoor/outdoor settings, areas close to traffic. Requirements and responsibilities Include: • Performing duties such as joint sealants and caulking • Perform exterior masonry cleaning tasks and waterproofing including operation of a power washer with a variety of spray materials • Assisting other skilled trade workers (caulking, waterproofing, etc.) in their performance. • Practice safe use of tools, machinery, equipment, and safety gear on the job • Performing other relevant duties as assigned. • Load, unload, or identify materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations. Lifting objects or materials weighing 60+ pounds. PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE. We are looking for experienced workers, but will train the right candidates.
