Environmental Works is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Directional Driller/Excavator/Machine Operator. We are looking for a candidate with excavation experience eager to learn directional drilling. The job will also include operating an excavator to dig trenches to repair or install sewer lines & underground utilities. Using trench shoring and safety; often working hand and hand with the sewer and drain departments. Requirements and responsibilities include: • Must have experience operating an excavator • Trench Safety/Shoring experience • Experience with drilling is a plus, willing to train the right candidate • CDL license is a plus • Must be willing to do physical labor • Ability to tow and maneuver trailers • Previous experience installing residential sewer lines a plus Physical Requirements/working conditions: • Ability to pass a background check • Must have a valid driver’s license • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively • Demonstrate ability to manage time well and to multitask • Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude • Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis • Ability to frequently kneel, squat, bend, stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motions Interested?
