Shipping and Assembly WAREHOUSE Location: City of Industry Summary: The shipping and assembly is responsible for performing a variety of shipping and some assembly under general supervision. The shipping team member will verify the order to match and prepare the items for proper shipment. To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities: • Read shipping orders to determine the quantity and items needed. • Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents prior to shipping. • Help inspect items. • Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped. • Operate equipment such as forklift, pallet jacks, and work safely and efficiently. • Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work environment. • Keep an equipment checklist and perform preventative maintenance of equipment. • Perform additional duties as required and or requested. • Training will be provided along with any certifications needed Please provide resume and reliable number to call.
