Life has almost completely collapsed for me. I can no longer care for the Akita dogs in my care. Health and family challenges (financial, physical, medical, etc) demand that I find a fostert PREVENT them from BEING TAKEN TO THE LOCAL SHELTER!!! These are older Akitas and deserve a safe, quiet, comfortable place where they can live out their years. PLEASE email me IF you can HELP these dogs. Rescues have been contacted and I have been turned down time and again. I know the situation is dire and there are tons of dogs needing rescue, but WHY WAIT until these dogs find themselves IN THE SHELTER where they will have to be rescued anyway!?! PLEASE HELP THESE DOGS TODAY.
