Join Bud Bennett and Beth Kelsey, otherwise known as Ragtime Fred in our January Listening Room at Max on Main. Ragtime Fred is a duo from Blacksburg, Virginia that play ragtime and classic jazz songs from about 1880 through 1945. We use everybody’s favorite combination of vocals, 5 string and tenor banjos (Bud Bennett), and acoustic bass (Beth Kelsey), and put a slightly different spin on these old familiar tunes. Max on Main will open at 5:00 p.m. with an abbreviated menu of paninis, waffles, and specialty coffees and teas. We'll turn off the espresso machine and start the concert at 6:00 p.m.
