Entry Level - Production Opportunities Device Testers - Position will test a variety of devices on a daily basis. Position requires a high level of attention to detail, effective communication, comfortable with use of computer and familiarity with configuration settings in phones, tablets, etc. Prepare electronic devices for charging by separating by model and organizing on designated charging stations. Ability to classify electronic devices based on functional test results, this includes non-conforming electronic devices. Tests consist of checking volume, buttons, speakers, alarms, screen brightness, etc. Perform functional/quality control tests on electronic devices in accordance with Vexwire’s device specific instructions and general guidelines. Liquidation – Ability to classify devices based on external appearance and sort, pack product according to brand, model, etc. Pack, label and stage device in specified location. Other duties as assigned. Data Clear – Candidates must be familiar with scanning, data entry and navigating different screens. Will clear/wipe all data from device and perform factory/manufacturer’s resets on various devices, i.e., Androids and IPhones. Kitters –Scanning labels for each device, cleaning device to insure in excellent condition prior to packing, set-up boxes, etc. Scanning requires basic knowledge and/or past experience with computers for label processing and input. Ability to classify devices based on external appearance & cosmetic condition received, i.e., “excellent”, “good”, “average”, “poor”, etc. Assist other departments with various duties or rush orders in order to meet production schedules. Basic computer skills required and detail oriented. JOB REQUIREMENTS Able to work specified schedule, 8am to 5pm and overtime on Saturdays as required, from 8am to 1pm. High school diploma or GED, or equivalent (1) one year of production/warehouse/picking & packing Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions Attention to detail Honest and reliable Ability to work effectively in a team environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to: Walk or stand Repetitive use of hands/fingers/wrist to handle electronic devices or tools Reach with hands or arms, stand, bend, crouch, lift Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
