Beekeeping 201: We will talk about the practical aspects of having a hive. Bee biology, colony management, and tools are the main topics. *Before registering for this in person portion, please go through the Beekeeping 101 class prior to taking this class.*Come learn about the awesome hobby of beekeeping! In this class you will learn about the make up of a Langstroth hive, the colonies caste system, how to acquire bees and more! True first time beekeepers are encouraged, but not required, to attend Beekeeping 101 before this class. Presented by JK Yarborough, Orange County Extension Agent. Cancellation policy: Classes are subject to cancellation if a minimum number of attendees are not booked. If class is cancelled you will receive a notification confirmation to the e-mail that is provided during the registration process.
