Join us for our winter education event. This event will take place in the Lincoln/Oxford room of the August Civic Center during the Maine Agriculture Trades Show. Be sure to leave yourself time to check out the other freat sessions and cendors at the trade show! This event grants participants with one continuing education credit.
First, we will be showing the documentary Code Blue (2019)
This film follows Dr. Saray Stancic and her journey with multiple sclerosis and in telling the story of the power of nutrition and lifestyle on the prevention and management of chronic disease. The film also reveals lapses in the current state of medicine and hurdles in shifting to a lifestyle-medicine approach.
Following the film. Dr. Saray Stancic will be available virtually for a Q&A session
Saray Stancic, MD is a board-certified physician and a graduate of New Jersey Medical School. Her life's work is creating a new healthcare model that is rooted in traditional medical principles but also emphasizes the importance of education and empowering patients to make positive lifestyle choices.

This event is free for Maine Nutrition Council (MNC) members. For non-members, this event is $25 and will automatically grant you MNC membership where you can attend three free educational CEU events each year and receive a reduced-priced registration for the annual spring conference.
