Experimental guitarist looking to start something new or join a group

Hey, Let’s give this a shot, yea? I’m currently guitar in an established band that’s on a bit of a pause right now and I’m getting eager to play again. Not really sure what exactly but thought I’d reach out into the ether of Craigslist and see what I can find. My current band is a pretty noisey, heavy, post rock trio with a lot going on and while I love it, I’d want to do something a bit different here. I’m really into simple, minimal structures that can be really quiet and sparse but insanely loud and dense. Very into the whole wall of sound idea and playing with a ton of effects. Heavy ambient? Would love to start with a solid heavy hitting drummer. Some groups I suppose I’d site as reference: LOW, This Will Destroy You (Tunnel Blanket specifically), Shellac (their more minimal stuff), Oxbow, Swans, Kowloon Walled City, Twilight Sad (1st two albums), Godspeed You!…, Big Brave, Earth (Bees Made Honey…), Young Widows, most stuff from Nick Cave and Warren Ellis Again, not sure what I’m looking for but if any of this sounds interesting to you, let’s chat. I’m also interested in working with a vocalist and building from there. Or joining up with another group. So… yea. Cheers.
