We all miss the old days...we are returning to one of our best the old days! Join us at BROOKLYN BOULDERS for our stuttering holiday bash! We're all longing for fond memories from the beforetimes, these days. In the spirit of fun, togetherness, and bringing back what community is all about, we're hosting our annual holiday gathering at an old favorite! We'll be hanging out at Brooklyn Boulders*, cheering each other on, while also enjoying low-key games and activities in our private room. Reconnect with your Chicago stamily, and meet some new faces.Climbing will be available from 3-5pm, with dedicated belay instructors. Whether you're a newbie, a pro, or simply enjoy encouraging others, come on by! We'll also have a private party space with board games, creative fun (gingerbread house building, anyone?), snacks, and the best thing of all...conversation.All ages are welcome at this event. Kids, families, adults, spouses, bring a friend! Chicago's stuttering community is welcoming to all who love and support people who stutter. Shared Voices charges a small admission fee for events in order to cover our not-for-profit activities. However, no person or family should ever feel excluded from events due to cost. The mission of Shared Voices is to create a shared community for people impacted by stuttering, through programming, resources, education, and outreach. Shared Voices’ vision is that people who stutter will speak authentically and confidently in their professional and personal lives, without fear of judgment or barriers to success.
