Quiet & Calm home needed

We are in need of finding a new home for our sweet boy Loki. He is estimated to be between 6 to 7 years old and we have had him for about a year and a half. He is all black and about 12lbs. He does have scaring in his left eye that was from an infection before we got him. We believe he is blind in that eye but it does not appear to affect him doing anything he wants to. Loki does very well with other kitties but has never been around dogs. He is a very shy and very easily scared kitty. He takes a long time to warm up to people and wants nothing to do with strangers at all. He would do best in a home with at least one other cat to have as a buddy but needs a home that is quiet and not very exciting. He's always down for a good toy or 2 to play with though. We have simply found that our home can not provide the environment that he needs as our home is always moving and often at a pace that is just too much for him. We will be picky about who he goes to as we truly only want the best for him. Please be prepared to take your time to gain his trust as he will be a huge love and will eat up attention once he has had the chance to learn to trust but it will take time. We will have lots of questions for you to ensure the best fit possible. Please no homes with dogs or small children
