Evan Christie and Nick Wheeler, two commensurate cocktail crafters, both promulgators of potations, these impresarios of imbibing prepare to do battle in the first ever Bridgeview Liquor Mixologist Melee! What is the nature of this concoction contest, you may ask? Each competitor will be provided in advance, by a neutral third party, with a theme for three different drinks. Then, using all the guile and cunning they possess, they will attempt to create the most luscious libation fitting each set of criteria. In this class, they will present their original drinks to you, teaching you how to make them, and discussing how they were created, hopefully spurring you on in your own cocktail creation endeavors. As you taste and learn about each, you will get the chance to vote on whose cocktail you prefer, crowning the first ever Bridgeview Mixology Champion. So sit back and allow these slingers of slings, these authors of aperitifs, these trailblazers of tipples, to tantalize taste buds with mesmerizing mixological mirth and creative cocktail concatenation. Let's get ready to RUM-ble! COVID-19 Protocols: While we are excited to resume hosting events, we are aware of the risk that remains from COVID-19. Because of this, we are asking that all attendees provide proof of vaccination when they come to the class. The nature of our event makes social distancing and masking impractical, so until advice changes, our classes will be limited to vaccinated customers only. Must be 21+ to attend.
