We will enjoy the holiday lights in style, on our own party BREW BIKE BUS, at SMS Sacramento's December Mom's Night Out! Join us as we celebrate the season during our December Mom's Night Out! We'll enjoy a Christmas Lights Tour in style on our BREW BIKE BUS. We'll take in the sights and sounds of this holiday season with our SMS village, while pedaling to the best holiday lights displays in town! We will also have a secret Santa gift exchange on the bus. You are welcome, but not required, to participate. Participants should spend no more than $15 on their gift. Get to know other local single moms while you "refill your cup". Our MNO events are opportunities to get together with women of similar circumstances and share new experiences. Inexpensive, quality childcare is always available during our Mom's Night Out events, but it fills quickly, so register as soon as you know FOR SURE that you can attend. THE FINE PRINT: Group size will be limited. Attendees must sign a COVID liability waiver and understand that they attend at their own risk. We will meet at the Empowerment Center, WHETHER OR NOT YOU UTILIZE CHILDCARE and carpool to the brew bike. Wear layered warm, comfortable clothes (we will be pedaling and be in open air!) If you are utilizing childcare, you MUST arrive no later than 4:45pm to check (pre-registered) children in to childcare. (Children will be served pizza for dinner.) Happy holidays! Statistics shows that children of single mothers suffer in a variety of ways and the mothers often find themselves living in poverty and riddled with guilt or frustration. But, we are here to change the statistics.  We believe that single mothers and their children do not have to be negatively impacted by this circumstance. In fact, being "single-mom-strong: having grit and determination; refusing to fail", is not detrimental at all... Single Mom Strong exists for the empowerment of single mothers and their children through enrichment, encouragement and educational programs.  Funds raised are used to advance our mission. It is the mission of Single Mom Strong to create a community of single mothers and children in support of one another, while empowering them to be their best selves, through enrichment, encouragement and educational programs.
