Plumber - Small Job

Wellesley MA

Description

Private home. Solder copper shutoff valve under kitchen sink. Specifically, cut into a 1/2" straight vertical copper supply line under the sink, add a copper T to extend a short horizontal 1/2" copper segment so a sweated copper shutoff can be connected to that horizontal segment. The shutoff ends will be: a) sweated copper; b) threaded to flexible water supply for dishwasher. I have all the parts - 1/2" T, 1/2" straight, shutoff valve. I'd look to you to bring a 1/2" copper cutting tool, a blow torch, solder, flux, etc. Please indicate if you're a licensed plumber, a handyman, roughly how many copper plumbing fittings you've soldered in the last year (5, 50, 500, etc), when you're available and how far you'd travel to Wellesley. I own a few homes and have intermittent work each year. Would like to find someone I trust and can afford for similar work. Update: See attached pics - an upper pic and lower pic of same two copper supply lines. There is a copper shutoff on the cold (right side) supply line. A new equivalent copper shutoff is needed on the hot (left side) supply line.
