Creating orginal local band

Hello, I am a guitarist looking to form an original band that sounds similar to 1. Alvvays 2. Local Natives 3. Tangled Hair 4. Albert Hammond Jr 5. Last Dinosaurs and many more In an ideal scenario I would want to create a band that sounds like these, but I understand that when we get together it might resort to just loud riffs and whatever genre that is. I don't care as long as we are having fun with it. Although my roots are in DIY and Midwest Emo. I really enjoy shoegaze, dreampop, psychedelic, indie rock, math, alternative and generally any guitar focused music. I have been playing for a couple of years and done a few cover bands and gigs, finally looking to create an original and local band. I am looking for at least a drummer, and a bassist. Other instruments not listed are welcome of course too, we have room for another guitar as well. I have played bass before, but for this project I'd like to play a guitar. I sure can't sing, so if anyone is looking to fill that role I am open to it. I have written lyrics before and have no problem continuing to do that, but I am also open to a collaborative environment. Dream situation is getting 5 songs we feel good about enough to release an EP or something, playing live, and having fun. More about me, I (25M) just moved to Houston and have been settling in for the past 6 months. I play my Telecaster through various pedals into a wonderful Roland JC40. I generally play more clean style with modulation, or shoegaze wall of fuzz style and everything in between. I have a solo project that sounds like Cocteau Twins / Greet Death, but I am just tired of doing it all myself, and would rather have a collaborative team. I am really nice. I did not want to include this, but my guitar teacher and mentor wanted me to mention this, he has been in lots of bands and he says that I am nice, and that will go a long way in working with people in bands from his experience. I have been in bands with some headbutting and would like to find friendly people to have fun with. This project will be POC and Queer friendly and there shouldn't be a problem with that :) I am available to share music back and forth over email, or meeting in person to play and practice!
