5K benefiting Christmas in the Park et al. Early bird registration is $25 for the 5K and includes a t-shirt. Early bird registration is $25 for the 5K and includes a t-shirt. After March1st, the cost goes up to $30 and t-shirts are then first come, first served. The Dogwood Ladies League is a civic organization of 28 ladies from around Washington Parish. They have been working and giving back to the community for over 30 years and have raised money and given to the Bogalusa Help Center Food Bank, Nellie Byers Training Center, Bogalusa Christmas Toy Fund, Christmas in the Park, United Way, Southeast LA Hospice, American Cancer Society, Magnolia Chapter of the Humane Society, Rest Haven Nursing Home, American Legion, and many more. They also help various graduating seniors and provide gas cards to those having to travel for cancer treatment or illness each year. This 5K is to benefit all the wonderful things these ladies make possible.
