Set your sights on a new outlook for 2022! Breakthrough Smash Room presents “Reflect, Relax, & Reset”!
Step 1: Reflect
Steffany Balestracci, MA LPC, owner of The Healing Effect Counseling Services starts with a 50-minute group session focusing on burn out, identifying stressors, and reframing self-defeating thoughts that hold you back. Using cognitive behavior and solution-focused therapy, “Reflect” on your negative inner monologue, process your negative beliefs, reframe your perspective, and explore solutions.
Smash your self-defeating thoughts…literally! During group therapy, you’ll be instructed to write your stressors and negative dialogue on smashables from our collection. Take them to one of the four smash rooms you’ll visit and destroy your negative thinking in a healthy, therapeutic, safe, and fun environment.
Step 2: Relax
Following the exertion of the smash room, you’ll need a nice cool down. Led by Emily Blanche, BFA, participate in a 30-minute movement and breathing session to that utilizes mind-body awareness, deep stretching, and conscious breath to support integration and “Relaxation”.
Step 3: Reset
We fuel your mind with positivity and connection. Now fuel your body with a healthy group lunch from Salad-n-Go while you process your experience and connect with your fellow group members. Make plans to continue your therapeutic smashing sessions with us or back at home. You’re “Reset” and ready for the new year!
