Revive the Roots is hosting a community potluck for our volunteers and friends!
We are lucky to have such a supportive community here at Revive and wanted to celebrate the end of our season with a gathering in the community gardens. There will be grilled veggies and meat, a big old cauldron of soup, music (bring your instruments!), and a dancable playlist put together by our friend DJ MoRo.
Potluck information:
We are encouraging folks to bring a dish that has a story/recipe linked to it. It can be as simple as “I was in a rush and this was everything on my bottom shelf ” or “ This is my adult version of the mud pies that I used to make when I was wee’ little”.
Our hopes are to share these recipes with eachother and to bring them home to other people in our lives! Maybe we’ll even start making a Revive The Roots Cookbook. (dreamy!)
As always, there will be an abundance of food. Please join us even if you’re unable to bring something.
Parking Information and Accessibility:
You will park at the community gardens 374 Farnum Pike, Smithfield RI 02917
We will have lighting set up to guide you from the parking area to the gathering. Please be aware that the parking area is mainly wood chips and is on uneven ground, while the area we are gathering is grassy. If this will stop you from attending, please reach out to [email protected] and we will have support for you when you arrive.
We are excited to see you!
