SARASOTA, FL – Detectives are looking for a man who took jewelry worth about $200,000 from a Sarasota home Nov. 23. The man entered a Lincoln Drive home between 9 and 10 a.m. and walked out with a safe containing the jewelry, Sarasota police wrote on Facebook. He left the home heading west on Lincoln Drive in what police believe to be a silver BMW X3 with a stolen temporary Georgia tag that reads P2809437. Sarasota police are asking for public assistance in identifying a man that stole $200,000 in jewelery from a Lincoln Drive home.
