Toward this end, it relocated sculptures created by Columbian artist Edgardo Carmona to these locations: • Billy Bowlegs Park • Collaboratory • Roberto Clemente Park • IMAG History and Science Center • I Will Mentorship Foundation Urban Community Farm • S.T.A.R.S. Complex The City's 9-member Public Art Committee has identified each of these sites as locations expected to become cultural, business or residential gathering spots. "Art hubs will enable a greater number of people and larger percentage of the City's citizenry to see, interact with and enjoy the City's public art collection while simultaneously engendering greater economic opportunity and better quality of life in the residential neighborhoods and business districts in which they are placed," states the Public Art Committee in its current Annual Plan. The art hub is being embraced by numerous municipalities and government agencies across the country. Special thanks to author Tom Hall for his contribution of information and images.
