That's more than triple the amount of daily new cases this week a month ago, when the county averaged 48.8. Here are the local case numbers: Morristown saw 43 new cases from Nov. 22 to Thursday, bringing the town to 2,519 infections since the pandemic began. That's an increase of 1.74 percent to Morristown's case total in 10 days.Officials reported 43 new Morris Township cases in that span, bringing the township to 1,922 cases since the pandemic began.
