Press release from the Kennebec Intra-District Schools Regional School Unit 2: December 2, 2021 MBES has has a new case today and has recently been designated in outbreak status by the DOE. The status is based on 3 positive cases being present at school within 14 days. After a conversation today with the School Outbreak Investigator, we have expanded our criteria for close contact status for some classrooms as recommended. This underscores the need for families to keep their child home if they have symptoms, and follow the quarantine requirement, in order to prevent full school closure or longer term remote learning for part of all of the school in the future.
