RAMSEY, NJ — A Bergen County plumber has been charged with possession of child pornography after a multi-month investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Cyber Crimes Unit. Prosecutors announced charges against, and the arrest of, Charles Gilbride, a plumber, from Ramsey on Thursday. Officials executed a search warrant at his Ramsey residence on Thursday after the investigation found that Gilbride used the Internet to view, download, and possess files depicting nude or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children, prosecutors said. He is scheduled for a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack on Dec. 22.
