SONGWRITER/GUITARTIST NEEDS TO START A BAND!!

I'm a 26-year-old multi-instrumentalist who is desperate to start band. I'm looking for musicians (vocalist?/bassist/drums/lead guitar?) who want to jam, write, record and tour songs. I'm not a professional musician and I am inexperienced in playing live music. However, I have some connections with other local touring groups and have a producer friend who is willing to record this project. I have a makeshift rehearsal/studio space in my garage. I already have a couple of song ideas figured out that I would like to flesh out with a full band. The intention is to record an EP of 6-10 songs and play live shows. I am fully committed to seeing this through and expect nothing less from band members. Bandmates must: 1) Have a fundamental understanding of their instrument and some music theory knowledge. 2) Have all the necessary equipment to perform. 3) Commit to attend regular in-person rehearsals in Arcata a minimum of twice a week (on time, no flakes). The genres that I want this project to take inspiration from is Shoegaze, Dreampop, Post-Punk, Grunge, Noise Rock, and Alternative. Think Sonic Youth, Smashing Pumpkins, Joy Division, The Cure, My Bloody Valentine, Swervedriver, Swans, Daughters, Cocteau Twins, Deftones, Deafheavan, Nothing, Nirvana, etc. Please email or text if you are interested!
