MONROVIA, CA — A Monrovia family said they got an uninvited houseguest during the holiday weekend when a burglary broke into their home, ate their food and watered the lawn, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune reported. Lorie Hope told the paper she went out of town with her family during the holiday weekend. She returned to find her house was burglarized. The unknown burglar stole the family's Christmas presents and ate their food. The burglar even ven watered the lawn and cleaned up the backyard, the Tribune reported.
