LA GRANGE, IL — La Grange police released their latest blotter Friday. Here is information from the reports: DUIs Michael Ellis, 26, of Riverside, was arrested about 6 p.m. Wednesday in the 10 block of South La Grange Road on charges of aggravated DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, no valid driver's license, illegal transportation of alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle and resisting a police officer. According to a police report, officers responded to a rollover accident involving Ellis. Heidi Flores, 43, of Chicago, was arrested about 11 p.m. Nov. 23 at 47th Street and East Avenue on charges of DUI, disobeying a stop sign and improper lane usage. Counterfeit bills A person at My Grandpa's Store, 202 N. Waiola Avenue, sold an iPhone 12 on Tuesday to another person who paid partially with fake money. The person was given 10 fake $20 bills. The case was turned over to the U.S. Secret Service, which handles counterfeit cases. Driving violations Miracle Morgan-Rucker, 28, of Chicago, was cited about 7:30 p.m. Nov. 24 at La Grange Road and Ogden Avenue on charges of driving without a license, operating an uninsured vehicle and improper parking on a roadway. Cindy Martinez, 50, of Westchester, was cited about 5 p.m. Nov. 18 at Ogden and Madison avenues on charges of driving with a suspended license and expired registration. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and people charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
