Here are the top stories in Jackson today: Local organizations are partnering to resolve the crime crisis in Jackson. The People's Advocacy Group conducted a meeting on Thursday at Sykes Community Park to unify the groups that are working on crime solutions, as well as invite the public to be involved. (WJTV) The Environmental Protection Agency urged the state to use $75 million in water infrastructure money to help underserved communities in Jackson. The funds will be distributed through the federal SFP program, and most of it will be available as grants or principal forgiveness. (WDAM)The University of Mississippi Medical Center will host a job fair on Dec. 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Tougaloo Community Center in Jackson.
