The Doylestown area Pet Valu has been rebranded as Pet Supplies Plus, and will host a grand opening celebration from December 4-5. Known as America’s favorite neighborhood pet store, the new Pet Supplies Plus store will be locally owned and operated and will provide Doylestown neighbors with a welcoming environment that offers a variety of pet care products, toys and foods. The grand opening celebration will take place on Saturday December 4 and Sunday December 5. The celebration will include the opportunity to take home your newest furry friend through partnerships with PA Caring Hearts and Save the Cats Inc. Pet Supplies Plus Doylestown will also offer free customized dog treats, the chance to win great prizes, and the opportunity for neighbors to learn about critters and Bioactive enclosures from special guest Chris Brill. The store is owned and operated by Michelle Lambert. Michelle previously held various executive positions in the IT industry and was looking to combine her entrepreneurial spirit with her passion for animals. This is Lambert’s third Pet Supplies Plus location. “We love welcoming pet parents into our store. We always plan to have fun and teach neighbors about the benefits of natural and nutritious pet food and even just chat with our friends about their animals’ recent antics – we are part of the neighborhood,” said Lambert. “Our Minus the Hassle tagline refers to making shopping for your pet an enjoyable, easy experience. For example, we don’t want you lugging your food out to your car – that’s our job. If you want to wash your dog, come on in. We’ll take care of the mess that’s tied to a bathing session.” Pet Supplies Plus will give pet parents a wide selection of natural pet foods, goods and pet services at low prices and focus on a unique, rich in-store experience for “neighbors” (the term Pet Supplies Plus uses for customers). The stores will also feature grooming and vet services, and knowledgeable and friendly staff. Pet parents are always welcome to shop with their dogs at the store, where knowledgeable team members are on-site to answer questions, offer tips or just get on their hands and knees to play with pets who enter the stores. Each team member is extensively trained in the areas of natural and holistic foods and are able to answer a broad range of questions about dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and fish.
