Bill Diaz, of Lockport, captured this image of a gray squirrel in a Hawthorne tree in his backyard. The photo was part of a project for a photography class at school. Marcia Hirsch sent in this photo she took from the balcony of her home in the Techny Basin Reservoir area of Northbrook.
