Charges Announced After Pedestrian Killed In Lakewood

LAKEWOOD, OH — A Parma man has been accused of vehicular manslaughter in connection to the death of a pedestrian in Lakewood. James A. Wolf, 54, from Parma, is accused of vehicular manslaughter, a second-degree misdemeanor punishable by up to 90 days in jail and a $750 fine. He also faces charges of full time and attention and clear view to front, both minor misdemeanors, Lakewood police announced. Wolf was released on citation. On Nov. 22, Karen Mack, 57, was crossing the intersection of W. 117th and Clifton Boulevard when she was hit by a truck. Police said Wolf was driving the truck. He remained at the scene after the collision. Mack was declared dead by EMS on the scene, police said. Lakewood police previously released the 911 calls from Nov. 22.
